Unit testing is an intimidating task to get started with, and with no prior knowledge of creating automated tests, it can be hard to understand the how and why of unit testing. In this video, I walk through some unit tests I have set up for a real-world application I am working on, and we discuss why we might want to unit test and how we can go about creating unit tests.
This video isn’t intended to be an introduction to how to unit test, and we don’t get into specifics, but I am attempting to communicate the idea of unit tests in a way that makes sense to somebody who has never done it before.
